What?
Known as the ‘Pearl of the Persian Gulf’, Dubai is probably the most well known and most popular sheikdom of the seven that make up the United Arab Emirates.
The city offers not only a remarkable modern skyline boasting the current world’s tallest building, the Burj Dubai but also maintains its traditional links with its souks and the quaint Old Town.
With the amazing ability to create only the best of everything, Dubai is home to some of the world’s most exciting attractions. With Dubai situated next to the Arabian Sea there are also plenty of water activities including deep sea fishing and of course diving where you will find some real treasures of all types of marine life.
And if all that gold gives you a taste for it, then a trip to the Gold Souks will be a sight for sore eyes. Dubai isn’t called the city of gold for nothing.

Where?
It is a peninsula located on the shore of the Persian Gulf region of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It shares borders with Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Oman.
When?
Dubai benefits from an average of 32 degrees C throughout the year except in July and August when temperatures can top 40 degrees C.
Who?
Dubai is a destination that attracts families, honeymooners, luxury travellers and sports fans – it has something for everyone. Adventure seekers can partake in sand boarding, camel rides even skiing on real snow; those looking for a slower pace can enjoy pottering round the souks and markets, enjoying a spa treatment or two at one of the many international spa’s and sports fans can watch one of the many International sporting events that happen here including golf championships, horse racing, International football matches or base themselves here for the annual Grand Prix that happens across the border in Adu Dhabi.
